#10 Ranked Red Devils Run Well at Paul Short

(Lehigh, Pa.) – The #10-ranked Dickinson women's cross country team turned in a great performance at the Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University.

The Red Devils were the top Division III team to finish in the Women's College Brown Race, claiming fourth behind a trio of Division I programs.

Dickinson had three runners in the top 25, led by junior Isabel Cardi (Swarthmore, Pa./Strath Haven) in third place with a time of 21:02.

Senior Sarah House (Merrimack, N.H./Merrimack) came across the line 11th, clocking a time of 21:22 while Tessa Cassidy (Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick) posted a time of 21:49 to place 23rd.

Juniors Emma Johnston (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial) and Kylie Shalala (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) clocked times of 22:01 and 22:54, respectively. Lilianna Matala (Schenectady, N.Y./Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons) and Elaina Clancy (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) had times of 23:11 and 23:18.

Eve Charest (Greenfield, Mass./Northfield Mount Hermon) led the Red Devils in the women's open race, clocking a time of 24:14. Isabel Crawford (Blue Bell, Pa./William Penn Charter) came in at 24:53 while McKenna Spaulding (Storrs, Conn./Edwin O. Smith) crossed the line in 25:17.

The Red Devils are off next weekend before traveling to the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on October 19.
