Division II Bloomsburg Swims Past Red Devils

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's swim team fell to visiting Division II Bloomsburg, 150-49, on Saturday afternoon at the Clarke Aquatic Center.

Senior Demetria Ruhl (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) had some strong performances, placing second in the 400-individual medley, the 500-freestyle and with the 200-free relay.

First-year Caroline Christianson (Olney, Md./Sherwood) joined the free relay and added a second in the 200-backstroke.

Classmate Caroline Wasielevski (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) anchored the medley relay and finished second in the 50-freestyle while junior Samantha Werner (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) swam the lead leg of the relay and placed third in the 200-backstroke.

Senior Lauren Woznicki (Media, Pa./Penncrest) joined the medley relay and classmate Samantha Florio (Stamford, Conn./Wilton) swam the anchor leg of the free relay.

Maddi Vlattas (Herndon, Va./Westfield) was third in the 200-breaststroke while Olivia Kochis (Hopewell, N.J./Hopewell Valley) took third in the 500-freestyle.

The Red Devils slip to 4-2 in the season. They travel to the Gettysburg Invitational on December 6-7.
