(Bryn Mawr, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's swim team traveled to Bryn Mawr College on Friday night and claimed a 112-83 decision over the Owls.
Senior Olivia Lyman (Mount Kisco, N.Y./Horace Greeley) placed first in the 1000 and 500 freestyle events, clocking times of 10:58.12 and 5:32.02, respectively. Madison Littlepage (Aldie, Va./John Champe) was third in the 1000 and finished second in the 500.
Molly Sternick (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) was a triple-winner, claiming the 50 freestyle (24.88) and the 100-butterfly (1:01.39), and joining the 200-medley relay.
Katie Schmidt (Plymouth, Minn./Breck School) led-off the medley relay and touched the wall first in the 100-backstroke with a mark of 1:02.66. Hannah Griffith (Lansdale, Pa./William Penn Charter) swam the other leg of the medley relay for a mark of 1:54.52.
First-year Sasha Arefyev (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shady Side) went for the cycle, placing first in the 200-freestyle (2:05.51), second in the 100-butterfly and third in the 100-freestyle event.
Brooke Kelly (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) came in second and third in the 100 and 200-freestyle. First-year Kelly Hester (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and sophomore Kate Erfle (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) went two-three in the 200-individual medley.
Senior Sammy Boswell (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) anchored the medley relay and placed third in the 50-freestyle and Shannon Bonner (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) placed second and third in the 200 free and the 100-backstroke events.
The Red Devils improve to 3-1 on the season and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference. They are in action again tomorrow, hosting the University of Scranton at 1:00 pm.
