Jarryd Erb (Lock Haven University '08) returns for his second season with the Red Devil women’s soccer staff this fall. Erb brings a strong coaching resume and background in education. He has worked with players and soccer programs at all levels while serving as a health and physical education teacher in the Hershey School District.
He has been involved with the varsity programs at Hershey since 2010 and was named the girls varsity head coach last season. In addition to his experience with the programs at Hershey, Erb also helped direct the West Branch Soccer Club and worked with the Central Mountain High School programs in Lock Haven.
He graduated with a B.S. in health and physical education and a minor in community health from Lock Haven University in 2008 and received a M.S. in Exercise Science: Sport Performance & Injury Prevention from the California University of Pa. in 2016. He also studied healthcare, fitness and education at the graduate level at Millersville University in Lancaster, Pa.
Erb has experience as a water safety instructor, ski instructor and lifeguard, and has earned numerous certifications in the areas of coaching, health and fitness and safety.
