MK Brosnan '19 (Old Tappan, NJ)

Major: Psychology, Economics

Internship: Performance/Sport Psychology, shadowing Dr. Nick Molinaro, at Champions Mind LLC (Mendham, NJ)

Why MK chose this internship: The opportunity to shadow Dr. Molinaro allows me to have hands-on experience, and insight into the daily operations of a performance and sport psychologist. This unique experience combines my love for both sports and psychology, and allows me to see how my academic pursuits in psychology have a direct impact on athletic and business performance. Shadowing Dr. Molinaro has advanced my knowledge of psychological phenomena, and has provided me with a glimpse into a potential career path that I never knew could be possible!

 

Briona Davis '19 (Franklin Park, NJ)

Major: Computer Science

Internship: Technology Intern, at Dow Jones (Princeton, NJ)

Why Briona chose this internship: I chose this internship because I was interested in gaining experience, and working with engineers and developers on real world problems so that I can get an idea of what I want to purse as a career after graduation.

Why Maggie chose this internship: I chose this internship because I am interested in non-profit organizations.

Major: International Business and Management

Internship: Supply Chain Operations Intern, at General Cocoa (New York, NY)

Why Ally chose this internship: I chose this internship because I am very interested in a career that involves commodities, and also has an international network. 

 

Eryn McDonald '20 (Scarsdale, NY)

Major: International Business and Management | Minor: Italian

Internship: Brand Management Lifestyle Intern, at Authentic Brands Group (New York, NY)

Why Eryn chose this internship: I chose to work at Authentic Brands Group because I am interested in the business side of the fashion industry. ABG owns close to 40 brands, and allows the interns to get a full experience by going to meetings, photoshoots, and much more. 

 

Emma Moore '20 (Davidsonville, MD)

Major: English

Internship: Editorial Intern, at What's Up? Media (Annapolis, MD)

Why Emma chose this internship: I chose this internship because I am interested in the field of journalism and communications.  This company puts out several local publications and magazines, including What's Up? Annapolis which is a popular news and media source in my hometown. They allow me to assist in research for magazine articles, attend and help out at promo events for the magazine, write weekly blog posts for the website, conduct interviews, and even write a few features that will go in monthly issues of the magazine.

 

Olivia Termini '19 (Mountain Top, PA)

Major: Environmental Studies, Classical Studies

Internship: Administrative and Legislative Intern, for Senator Robert P. Casey of Pennsylvania. Legislative cluster match: Community and Economic Development (Washington, D.C.)

Why Olivia chose this internship: Last summer I worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and my advisers told me that my charisma, communication skills, and overall fast pace of life would allow me to be successful on the Hill. My primary goal is to learn how to build stronger and more vibrant communities, by making communities socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable.  My experience in the U.S. Senate is teaching me how policy is truly created, and allowing me an insider's view on the difference of functions of the Executive and Legislative branches of our government. 

 

Addison Wright '20 (Reading, PA)

Major: International Business and Management

Internship: Fuel Strategies Intern, at Penske Truck Leasing Company (Reading, PA)

Why Addison chose this internship: I chose this internship because of the competitive and reputable nature of Penske's internship program, and the company as a whole. Penske has provided me with numerous experiences and opportunities that I will carry with me as I begin to navigate my professional career.
