(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team scored all three goals in the first half on the way to a 3-1 victory over visiting Bryn Mawr College on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils jumped out to 2-0 lead as junior Ally Diez (Rockville Center, N.Y./South Side) scored for the second straight game, netting the game-winner in overtime on Wednesday night.
Diez struck, just 6:33 into the match to put the Red Devils on the board early. Classmate Addy Zandi (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) found the back of the net to give the Red Devils a 2-0 advantage in the 11th minute.
The Owls responded as Elizabeth Kiely answered in the 25th minute to pull the Owls back within one.
It turned out to be junior day at Miller Memorial Field as Elizabeth Krause (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) closed out the scoring with 15 minutes to play in the first half.
The Red Devils outshout the Owls 28-1, forcing 15 saves from goaltender Leah Baer.
Senior Mary Katherine Brosnan (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Old Tappan) did not make a save as the Red Devils improve to 9-3-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the Centennial Conference.
The Red Devils are off midweek and are on the road next Saturday, traveling to Haverford College for a 12:00 pm start.
