Red Devils Roll Past Lions for 2-0 Start

(Harrisburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team had another strong offensive output on Saturday, posting a 4-0 victory at Penn State Harrisburg.

The Red Devils put their first goal on the board in the 14th minute as sophomore Tara Dedrickson (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) finished a double-assist from Ally Diez (Rockville Center, N.Y./South Side) and first-year Charlotte Glancey (Princeton, N.J./Montgomery).

The score would hold into halftime, but the Red Devils would tally three more after the break.

Junior Sienna Zittle (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) netted her third goal of the season in the 65th minute as Glancey recorded her second assist of the day. Zittle followed up with an assist to Briona Davis (Franklin Park, N.J./Franklin) in the 75th.

Junior Caitlin Gugliotta (North Plainfield, N.J./North Plainfield) finished things off, finding the net with just 19 seconds remaining, off an assist from first-year Alena Wade (Alisa Veijo, Calif./Aliso Niguel).

The Red Devils outshot the Lions 16-5 as Kayla Arnold made seven saves. Senior Mary Katherine Brosnan (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Old Tappan) made three saves to earn the shutout.

The Red Devils improve to 2-0 to start the season. They return to Carlisle for their home opener on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Christopher Newport University at 4:00 pm on Miller Memorial Field.
