(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team had a great outing on Saturday morning, finishing just six strokes behind defending Centennial Conference Champion Gettysburg, 331-337. The 337 was also a school record for the Red Devils, breaking the previous mark of 340 set at the 2017 conference championships. The Red Devils captured second in the tri-match with Franklin & Marshall coming in with a 369.
The Red Devils placed two-three-four in the individual standings.
Senior Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) turned in a career-best 79 to claim second overall, just four strokes back of Gettysburg medalist Hannah Fireman (75).
Junior Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) matched her collegiate-best score with an 81 to take third while sophomore Himeno Yamane (Astoria, N.Y./Hunter College) placed fourth with her collegiate-best round of 82.
The Red Devils travel to the two-day Gettysburg Invitational next weekend at the Hanover Country Club.
