#25 Ranked Men's XC Runs Takes Fifth at Paul Short

(Lehigh, Pa.) – The #25-ranked Dickinson men's cross country team had a great performance at the Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University.

The Red Devils finished fifth overall and were the top Division III team to finish in the Men's College Brown Race.

Senior Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) led the way with a top-10 finish, placing ninth overall with a time of 24:57.

Sophomore Christopher Scharf (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) crossed the line 13th with a time of 25:02 while Charles Scharf (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) clocked a time of 25:21, placing 47th overall.

First-year Ryan Heskin (Floral Park, N.Y./Northfield Mount Hermon) came in at 25:28 and Odin Bules (Union Mills, Ill./South Central) posted a mark of 25:59 to round out the Devils' top five.

Jacob Doherty Munro (Hudson, Mass./Hudson) and Teddy Mercer (Cortland, N.Y./Homer) had times of 26:02 and 26:16.

In the men's open race, Michael Loalbo (Hamden, Conn./Hamden) led the Red Devils with a time of 27:38 with Charlie Miske (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial) and Ayinde Summey (Denver, Colo./The Field School) clocking times of 27:53 and 28:01. Matthew Foote (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) added a time of 28:19

The Red Devils are off next weekend before traveling to the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on October 19.
