Division II Huskies Top Devils, Despite Strong Performances

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's swim team fell to visiting Division II Bloomsburg, 132.5-71.5, but had some strong individual wins on Saturday.

Senior Will Freeman (Haddonfield, N.J./Pennington) captured two events, winning the 400 individual medley and the 200-breaststoke. He added a third-place finish with the 200-medley relay.

Sophomore Logan Cort (Brookeville, Md./Mercersburg) won the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle events and placed second with the free relay.

Ben Shoul (Hanover, Pa./Southwestern) joined the medley relay, placed second as the lead leg of the 200-free relay and touched the wall fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.

Sophomore Damon St. Prix (Barbados/Peddie School, N.J.) anchored the free relay and added another silver in the 100-freestyle.

Senior Tyler Catania (Spotswood, N.J./St. Joseph) touched the wall first in the 200-yard butterfly and placed second with the free relay.

Cameron McConagha (Broadlands, Va./Briar Woods) and first-year Reid Schattgen (Fredericksburg, Va./Fredericksburg Academy) joined the medley relay as well.

The Red Devils slip to 3-2 in the season. They next complete at the Gettysburg Invitational on December 6-7.
