#26-Ranked Men's Squash Slips Past Connecticut 5-4

(New Haven, Conn.) – The #26-ranked Dickinson men's squash team won its first match of the season, holding off #27-Connecticut College, 5-4, on Sunday at Yale University.

Alex Wattles (Millbrook, N.Y./Millbrook) earned the point in the top-flight with a four-set decision (11-5, 11-6, 3-11, 11-7) while Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) had a similar outing to win the third (11-6, 11-5, 6-11, 11-9).

Junior Osuman Imoro (New Haven, Conn./Trinity Pawling) won three strong sets to capture the number four spot (11-4, 11-9, 11-8).

First-year Hussien Eldesouky (Cairo, Egypt/Berkshire School, Mass.) survived a five-set marathon in the seventh flight, going (18-16, 7-11, 13-11, 6-11, 11-5) and Adil Tibrawalla (Kolkata, India/La Martiniere School) held off a late charge from Christopher Mach (11-4, 13-11, 7-11, 11-8).

The Red Devils improve to 1-4 on the season. They return to action on January 10, hosting St. Lawrence University at 6:00 pm.
