(Carlisle, Pa.) – The #17-ranked Dickinson men's squash team posted a solid win over #28-ranked Tufts University, posting a 7-2 win on Monday morning at the Kline Center.
First-year Finn Trimble (Whangarei, New Zealand, Whangarei) held on to win the opening set, 12-10, in the top flight and went on to a 3-0 decision with scores of 11-6 and 11-7. With the win, he improves to 6-3 on the season.
First-year Frank Goossens (Schaarbeekstraat, Amsterdam /Vossius Gymnasium) turned in a dominant performance to win the third flight (11-1, 11-5, 11-2) and junior Cory Litman (Lower Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) claimed the fourth (11-6, 11-3, 11-5).
Tanay Murdia (New Fatehpura Udaipur, India / Delhi Public School) and Harrison Mayo (Penn Valley, Pa./Harriton) tallied 3-0 wins in the six and seven spots while Osuman Imouro (New Haven, Conn./Trinity Pawling) posted his third straight win of the season, going 3-0 in the ninth flight.
The Red Devils improve to 4-5 on the season. They are on the road on Thursday, traveling to Brown University for a 5:30 pm match.
