Men's Golf Has Strong Start at Rosemont Invitational

(Downingtown, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team had a strong start at the Rosemont Invitational on Saturday at the Downingtown Country Club. The Red Devils are currently fifth in the team standings of the 18-team field, combining for a score of 317.

Gettysburg leads the team standings with a 296 while Rosemont is second at 308.

Sophomore Tyler Caballero (Lutherville, Md./St. Paul's School) continued to strike the ball well, tying for ninth in the individual standings with a first-round score of 76.

First-year Drew Stern (Yardley, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) is just a stroke back with a 77 on Saturday while senior Stephen Bonacci (McLean, Va./Langley) carded an 80.

First-years Justin Shim (Herndon, Va./Paul VI Catholic) and Francis Randazzo (Summit, N.J./Morristown-Beard) had solid rounds, turning in scores of 83 and 84, respectively. Jacob Liberman (Wayne, Pa./Friends' Central) came in with an 86.

Gettysburg's Danny Harcourt leads the field with an opening round of 69.

The Red Devils return to Downingtown on Sunday for the final round of the tournament.
