(Elverson, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team had a great outing on Tuesday afternoon, finishing second at the Ursinus College Spring Invitational. Penn State Berks captured the team title with a team score of 301 with the Red Devils combining for a 309 on the day.
Sophomore Tyler Caballero (Lutherville, Md./St. Paul's School) tied for the low round but Penn State Berks' Jacob Siegfried and Matt Kreider capitalized on the tie-breaker with scores of 34 and 36 on the back nine.
Caballero carded the low-round of 74 with a 37 on the front and back nine. Four players tied with 74 and first-year William McCann (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard) was right there as well, just one stroke back with a 75.
Schuyler Leff (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) carded a 79 while Justin Shim (Herndon, Va./Paul VI Catholic) and Vince Warzecha (Chester Springs, Pa./Malvern Prep) turned in scores of 81 and 83, respectively.
The Red Devils held off Moravian, who took third with a 311 in the nine-team field.
The Red Devils are back in action this weekend, traveling to the Rosemont College Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
