Men's Golf Moves into Second After Opening Round

(Macungie, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team is currently tied for second after the first round of the Centennial Conference Championships on Friday afternoon.

Franklin & Marshall holds the lead in the team standings with 286 while Dickinson and McDaniel both came in with rounds of 299.

Sophomore Charlie Zane (Guilford, Conn./Hopkins School) is currently second in the individual standings with a round of 71. F&M's Ben Mitchell leads the field with a 67.

First-year Tyler Caballero (Lutherville, Md./St. Paul's) had a great round as well, tying for fifth with a 73.

Ryan Kowash (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) and Jake Kessel (Woodcliff Lakes, N.J./Pascack) carded rounds of 76 and 79 while Jacob Liberman (Wayne, Pa./Friends' Central) was one stroke back with an even 80.

The Red Devils return to action at the Conestoga Country Club on Saturday morning. Competition concludes after the third round on Sunday.
