Cole Glennon (Dickinson ’11) returned to his alma mater to join the Red Devil coaching staff in 2018. Glennon is a 2011 graduate of Dickinson and came back to Carlisle following a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Wilkes University, where he also gained experience as a defensive coordinator.
He will handle the defensive backs and be the defensive coordinator for the Red Devils under Head Coach Brad Fordyce as well.
Glennon went to Wilkes after serving as a defensive assistant at Villanova University for three seasons from 2012-2014. While at Villanova, Glennon worked directly with the defensive coordinator in all aspects including film breakdown and exchange, and opponent and self-scout analysis. He also worked closely with the linebackers and special teams units.
Prior to Villanova, Glennon worked at Muhlenberg College for one season where he served directly under the head coach in all aspects of the football program. From a specific coaching standpoint, Glennon was Muhlenberg's outside linebackers coach. He was also responsible for recruiting southeast and central Pennsylvania, as well as Maryland, Washington, D.C., Texas, Florida and California.
Glennon is a 2011 graduate of Dickinson College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with a minor in Physics. He was a three-year letter winner for the Dickinson football team.
