(Carlisle, Pa.) – Dickinson junior James Turner (Ridgefield, Conn./Suffield Academy) was named the Centennial Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week, following the Red Devils victory over Moravian College on Saturday.
Turner tallied five tackles and intercepted two passes, returning one 35 yards for a touchdown. The junior linebacker made a great read, picking-off Christopher Mills on the final play of the game to secure a 36-29 win.
Turner ranks second in the conference, averaging over 10 tackles per game and moved into fourth on the program list with 292 career tackles.
The Red Devils improved to 4-5 overall and 4-4 in the Centennial Conference. They travel to Ursinus College for the regular season finale next Saturday.
