Devil Women Run to 18th Place Finish at Nationals
| (Cleveland, Ohio) - The 15th-ranked Dickinson College women's cross country team ran to an 18th place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships on Saturday. | |
Junior Kim Powell (Canton, Conn./Canton) led the way for the Devils, placing 47th overall with a time of 23:05.
Sophomore Catherine Campbell (Carlisle, Pa./Trinity) clocked a time of 23:14 while Mary Hamilton (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) crossed the line in 23:43 to place 59th and 112th, respectively.
Senior Sarah Romano (Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) turned in a time of 24:13 to finish 172nd. Merit O'Hare (Pittsburgh, Pa./N. Allegheny), Julie Platt (Wynnewood, Pa./Springside) and Rebecca Robbins (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) posted times of 25:13, 25:25 and 27:04, respectively.
Wisconsin-Eau Claire captured the team title while St. Lawrence's Wendy Pavlus captured the individual title with a time of 21:28.
