Chargers Hold Off Red Devils for 12th Win

(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's volleyball team pushed the opening set to 26-24 but dropped a 3-0 decision at Lancaster Bible College on Thursday. The Chargers went on to post scores of 25-15, 25-17 to improve to 15-6 on the season.

Alex Berezan (Surrey, B.C./Earl Marriott Secondary) dished out 12 assists, tallied seven digs and three kills on the night. Sophomore Tatiana Lopez (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Colegio Puertorriqueno de Ninas) picked up 15 digs to go with two kills and two digs.

Jamie Singer (Livingston, N.J./Golda Och) had four kills and nine digs while Elise Butler (Chester Springs, Pa./Academy of Notre Dame) added four kills and a pair of aces.

Jenna Schumann (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Germantown Academy) chipped in with seven digs, three aces and a pair of kills.

The Red Devils slip to 8-14 on the season. They return home to face Bryn Mawr College and Lycoming in a tri-match on Saturday with the first match starting at 12:00 pm.
