Diplomats Down Devils in Season Finale

(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson College women's volleyball team gave Franklin & Marshall a strong match on Saturday, but fell to the 9-1 Diplomats, 3-0. The Devils suffered a 25-16 setback in the first set and battled to identical 25-20 scores in the next two frames.
Sophomore Emily Kisak (Columbia, Md./Howard) led the Devils at the net with six kills. Classmate Grace Morgan (York, Pa./York Suburban) tallied four aces to go with 11 assists and seven digs on the day.
Senior Liz Norris (Southbury, Conn./Hotchkiss School) also recorded seven digs while Kaylee Britain (Wayzata, Minn./Blake) added a pair of aces, two blocks and three kills.
Jessica Poucel and Sydney Seydel each recorded eight digs for F&M (18-10, 9-1) while Seydel added a match-high six aces as well.
The Red Devils finish the season 3-19 overall and 1-9 in the Centennial Conference.
