Falcons Top Devils for Fourth Straight Win

(Grantham, Pa.) - The Dickinson College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at Messiah on Tuesday night. The Devils challenged the Falcons in all three sets, falling 25-21, 25-20, 25-23.

 

First-year Emily Kisak (Columbia, Md./Howard) led the Red Devils with seven kills and a pair of aces. Sophomore Avery Zuvic (Cold Spring, N.Y./Haldane) tallied five kills and five digs while junior Liz Norris (Southbury, Conn./Hotchkiss School) added five kills and recorded four blocks.

 

First-year setter Grace Morgan (York, Pa./York Suburban) dished out 19 assists and classmate Joanna DeCastro (Far Hills, N.J./West Morris Mendham) chipped in with a team-high nine digs, adding a pair of aces as well.

 

Messiah improved to 4-2 overall, winning their fourth straight match.

 

The Red Devils slip to 0-4 on the season. They return home to host the Dickinson Invitational this weekend. Play begins at 2:00 pm on Friday afternoon.
