Devils Drop Second Match in West Coast Tour
| (Claremont, Calif.)- The Dickinson College women's volleyball team suffered a second setback on its trip to California on Friday evening. The Red Devils fell to Claremont Mudd-Scripps, 3-0 to slip to 3-8 on the season. CMS posted scores of 25-9, 25-7 and 25-12 to claim the win. | |
Sophomore Liz Norris (Southbury, Conn./Hotchkiss School)tallied four kills and a pair of blocks for the Red Devils. SeniorChelsea Winkert (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) recorded 12 assists while classmate Kristen Lee (Los Angeles, Calif./Brentwood School) added a team-high 10 digs.
Amanda Hayes (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) chipped in with eight digs while Lauren Yura (Morgantown, W.V./Morgantown)tallied seven.
The Red Devils open Centennial Conference play on Saturday, hosting Ursinus College at 11:00 am.
