Lavery Named Centennial Women' Tennis Player of the Week

(Lancaster, Pa.) - Dickinson College sophomore Shannon Lavery (Huntington, W. Va. / Huntington) was named the Centennial Conference women's tennis Player of the Week.
Lavery earned four points last week, capturing two wins in the top doubles flight and a pair of victories in the second singles flight. Lavery won both matches against unbeaten Wilkes University and posted two wins as the Devils handed Swarthmore its first Centennial Conference loss of the season on Saturday.
Lavery earned her singles point with a (6-0, 6-3) win in the Wilkes match and held off Emily Rosenblum 6-2, 6-4 on Saturday.
