Devils Finish Week With 6-3 Win in Hilton Head
(Hilton Head, S.C.) – The Dickinson College women's tennis team raised its record to 6-1 on the season with a 7-2 win over Spring Arbor University.
The Devils led 2-1 after doubles, claiming the first and second flights. They claimed 5-of-6 singles matches to secure the match.
Alysia Rodgers (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) and Shannon Lavery (Huntington, W. Va./Huntington) partnered for an 8-2 win in doubles and claimed the first and second singles flights.
Nora Hajnoczky (Wallingford, Conn./Strath Haven) posted a 6-1, 6-1 singles win and teamed with first-year Ilana Unger (Boulder, Colo./Alexander Dawson) for an 8-3 doubles victory.
Brittany Zoll (Malvern, Pa./Shipley) and Leigh Oczkowksi (Binghamton, N.Y./Seton Catholic) added singles wins as well.
The Red Devils return north to open Centennial Conference play on Wednesday at Johns Hopkins.
