#17 Red Devils Win Fifth Straight

(Middletown, Conn.) - The #17-ranked Dickinson women's squash team posted its third straight shutout, going 9-0 on Sunday morning at Wesleyan University. The Red Devils had a dominant outing, winning seven matches in straight sets.

First-year Lindsay Kuracina (Thorn Hill, Ontario, Canada/Lake Forest) improved to 5-1 on the season, winning her fifth straight at the number two spot.

Domenica Romo (Ambato, Ecuador/Colegio Atenas) had another strong finish in the third flight (11-7, 11-3, 11-4).

Eloise Nimoityn (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) finished strong to claim the point in the number four spot (11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 11-3). 

Aya Sobhy (Stroudsburg, Pa./Blair Academy) won and five and Nicole DeLuca (Newtown Square, Pa./Baldwin) closed out her match with an 11-0 third to win (11-2, 11-9, 11-0)

Alanis Perez (New Haven, Conn./Canterbury School) and Abbie Wingerd (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) turned in dominant wins and Sarah Murphy (Hamilton, Mass./Brooks School) moved up to take the ninth 

The Red Devils win their fifth straight to improve to 5-1 on the season. They return to action on January 14, traveling to Brown University for a tri-match with Tufts University.
