(Haverford, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team claimed a key Centennial Conference win at Haverford College, topping the hosts, 1-0, in overtime.
Senior Killian Donohue (Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville) and first-year Charlotte Glancey (Princeton, N.J/Montgomery) anchored the defensive effort and connected on a beautiful set piece to net the game-winner.
Donahue served a free kick to the back post and Glancy redirected a header into the back of the net to claim the victory, just 1:16 into the first overtime.
The match was a hard-fought battle with few offensive opportunities. The Red Devils held the edge in the shots, 5-4, while Haverford forced three corners while allowing just two from Dickinson.
The Devils put four attempts on target, producing three saves from Julie Hanns.
