(Bryn Mawr, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's lacrosse team turned in a dominant performance at Bryn Mawr College, posting an 18-0 shutout on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils were without two starters, but did not miss a beat, jumping out to 13-0 lead at halftime, outshooting the Owls, 21-0, in the first half.
The Red Devils struck twice in the opening two minutes, and Maddie Parker (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) and Eleanor Kaestner (Glyndon, Md./Franklin) each tallied back-to-back goals to stretch the lead to 8-0 at the 13:52 mark.
The Red Devils held 14-1 edge on shots in the second half, adding five goals for the final tally.
Dickinson held a 15-4 advantage in draw controls, causing 19 turnovers and picking up 19 ground balls on the day.
11 players tallied a goal or an assist for the Red Devils. McKenzie Rambusch (Madison, N.J./Madison) controlled six draws while Marmo forced three turnovers and tallied three ground balls as well.
The Red Devils improve to 5-4 overall and move to 2-0 in the Centennial Conference. They are on the road again on Wednesday, traveling to McDaniel for a 4:30 pm opening draw.
