#2-Ranked Diplomats Hold-Off Devils 10-6

The Red Devils struck first, just 22 seconds into the game as Sara Braniecki (Ocean City, Md./Stephen Decatur) assisted Alysa Crellin (Little Compton, R.I./Portsmouth Abbey School), but the Diplomats answered with four straight, and held a 5-2 advantage at halftime.
Abby Larson (Easton, Md./Gunston Day) scored the Devils' second goal on a free-position with 1:21 remaining in the half.
The Diplomats stretched the lead with a pair of goals to open the second half. Dickinson went on a 3-1 run, looking to rally with just over 23 minutes to play in the game, cutting the deficit to 8-5.
Erin Dunne sandwiched a pair of goals around Crellin's third goal of the day for the final of 10-6.
Crellin added four draw controls to her hat-trick as the Devils controlled 12-of-18 DCs on the day. Braniecki finished with a goal and two assists while Kara Glazer (Towson, Md./Towson) also scored for Dickinson.
Junior goaltender Jessie Clark (Devon, Pa./Conestoga) made 13 saves and controlled four ground balls. Sophomore Kaity Moore (Chestertown, Md./St. Andrew's) caused three turnovers.
Lidia Sanza stopped five shots for F&M (9-1, 5-0).
The Red Devils return home to face #7-ranked Gettysburg College on Wednesday at 4:30 pm.
