Women's Golf Claims Third at CC Championship

(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team is had another solid round to hold on to third at the 2019 Centennial Conference Championship at the Conestoga Country Club.

The Red Devils (368-375-733) finished behind second-place Marymount University (366-353-719) as Gettysburg College claimed the title (346-348-694). The Red Devils held off Muhlenberg by one stroke to capture the bronze.

Sophomore Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) was just one spot away from All-Conference, carding an 84 to finish tied for sixth with a 176.

Junior Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) tied for ninth overall with a two-day total of 181. First-year Himeno Yamane (Astoria, N.Y./Hunter College) dropped five strokes off her round from Saturday, carding an 89 to post a 183. 

Rachael Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) and Emily Rieder (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) turned in scores of 195 and 196, respectively.

Gettysburg won its ninth straight team title. The Red Devils finished third in 2017 and second last spring.
