Women's Golf Third After Round One of CC Championship

(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team is currently third after the first round of the Centennial Conference Championship at the Conestoga Country Club.

The Red Devils are just two strokes behind second-place Marymount University (366-368) while Gettysburg College holds the top spot with a 346 on day one. Muhlenberg College is two strokes behind the Red Devils with 370.

Junior Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) is just five strokes out of first place and two strokes behind a trio of players in second, shooting an 85 on the day.

Sophomore Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) is currently 10th, carding a 92 for the first round.

First-year Himeno Yamane (Astoria, N.Y./Hunter College) came in with a 94 while Rachael Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) and Emily Rieder (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) turned in scores of 97 and 100, respectively.

The Red Devils return tomorrow for the final round of the tournament.
