Red Devils Finish Strong at Gettysburg Invite

(Abbotstown, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team had another good round of the seven-team Gettysburg Spring Invitational, finishing fourth with a two-day total of 714 on Sunday afternoon. The Red Devils dropped two strokes from Saturday, combining for a 356.

Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) improved nine strokes, carding an 85 on Sunday.

Emily Rieder (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) cut three strokes to shoot an 87 while Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) matched her first-round score with an 89.

Himeno Yamane (Astoria, N.Y./Hunter College) had a 95 and sophomore Rachael Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) carded a 99 on the day.

Gettysburg pulled in front of York College to take the title with a 649. York finished with 651 and Stevenson was third with 653.

The Red Devils are next scheduled to compete at the Centennial Conference Championships on April 27 and 28 at the Conestoga Country Club.
