Women's Golf Captures Second at Muhlenberg Invite

(Allentown, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team placed second at the seven-team Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday afternoon. The Red Devils combined for a team score of 367 while Drew University claimed the title with a 363.

Junior Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) led the way with a fifth-place finish with a 90 on the day.

Emily Rieder (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) and Himeno Yamane (Astoria, N.Y./Hunter College) carded rounds of 91 and 92 to place seventh and eighth, respectively. Rachael Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) was right there as well, scoring a 94.

The Red Devils held off third-place Muhlenberg by a stroke. The Mules' Kat Hodges and Ursinus' Emily McGarrigle tied for first with rounds of 84.

The Red Devils travel to the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Hanover Country Club.
