Descavish, Herrmann Earn All-Conference Honors

(Carlisle, Pa.) – Dickinson sophomore Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) and junior Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) were named to the All-Centennial Conference Men's Cross Country Team, announced on Thursday afternoon.

Descavish ran to First-team honors, placing seventh overall with a time of 25:47. He was the top finishing first-year last fall, earning Rookie of the Year honors in 2016.

He earned All-Region honors last season, finishing 34th overall. Descavish was the second first-year to cross the line as well, and was named to the All-Mideast Freshman Team.

Herrmann claimed Second-team honors, placing ninth overall with a time of 25:51. He had a great start to the season, winning the Little Three Championship to lead the Red Devils to their 21st consecutive team title.

The Red Devils finished third in the team standings at the conference championships. They rank fifth in the region and are set to host the NCAA Mideast Regionals on November 11, at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa.
