Men's XC Moves Up in National Rankings

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's cross country team made a big jump in the U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national poll, moving up to #28 this week. The Red Devils are ranked fourth in the Mideast Region after a strong start in the opening two races of the season.

The Red Devils captured team titles at the Galen Piper Invitational at Shippensburg and then ran to their 21st consecutive Little Three Championship.

Junior Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) turned in a great performance to win the individual title at the Little Three as Dickinson claimed the top seven places in the race. Sophomore Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) led the way at Shippensburg, finishing at the top intercollegiate runner and placing second overall.

The Red Devils return to competition on September 23rd at the Purple Valley Classic, hosted by Williams College.
