Men's Track & Field Receives Academic Honors

(New Orleans, La.) - The Dickinson men's track & field team received All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (UST&FCCCA) while one individual also received All-Academic recognition.

Sophomore Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) had an outstanding year on the way to earning individual honors. He started off with a First-team All-Conference performance at the Centennial Championships, leading the Red Devils to third in the team standings. He ran to All-Region honors for the second straight year and led the Red Devils to an unprecedented 21st consecutive Little Three Championship. 

He received honorable mention All-Conference during the indoor track & field season, placing third in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters at the indoor conference championships. Outdoors, he had a great spring, earning All-Region in the 5,000 and 10,000-meter events. He ran to First-team All-Conference with the 4x800 relay and was an NCAA Qualifier in the 5,000. He was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field.
