Herrmann Claims Third in Mile at Roanoke Final Qualifier

(Roanoke, Va.) – The Dickinson men and women's track & field team sent junior Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) and sophomore Natalie Suess (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) to the Roanoke College Final Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.

Suess had a great race, coming just 41 one-hundredths of a second off the school record, placing second in the 400 meters. Suess clocked a personal-best of 59.71, breaking the one minute mark for the first time in her career.

Herrmann ran to third in the mile, clocking a time of 4:28.39.

The Red Devils are now waiting for the fields to be announced for the 2018 NCAA Indoor Championships on March 9-10, in Birmingham, Alabama.
