Men's Track & Field Named All-Academic Team

(New Orleans, La.) – The Dickinson men's track & field team received All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). A total of 294 teams, (183 women's and 111 men's), were honored for their academic performance.

The Red Devils had some strong individual performances throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons. Senior Mason Hepner (Mount Joy, Pa./Manheim Central) led the way, making National Championship appearances, both indoors and outdoors. He was named the Centennial Conference Track Performer of the Meet at the outdoor championships and set a combined, five school records on the year.

Hepner received a pair of All-Region honors, joined on the indoor squad by sophomore Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) and sophomore Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown), following the outdoor season.

The Red Devils placed five student-athletes on the indoor Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and had six during the outdoor campaign.
