(Allentown, Pa.) – Dickinson senior Mason Hepner (Mount Joy, Pa./Manheim Central) had another outstanding meet, winning two events at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Saturday. Hepner crossed the line first in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.69 and won the 1500 in 3:55.95.
Sophomore Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) placed fourth in the 1500 and fifth in the 800 with times of 4:04.31 and 4:04.39. Junior Billy Dougherty (Mt. Lebanon, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) added a top ten finish the 800 as well.
First-year Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) clocked a time of 9:58.42 to place second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Junior Devin Glasson (Canton, Conn./Canton) was third in the discus with a throw of 43.29 meters and seventh in the shot put with a throw of 12.03 meters. Brock Hartman (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) had a throw of 12.53 meters to place sixth in the shot while Robert Pearl (Sea Ranch Lakes, Fla./Pine Crest) was ninth in the shot put with a toss of 11.92.
The Red Devils are in action again next weekend, competing at the Messiah College Multi-Event and Invitational.
