Pecora Ninth in 5000 at NCAA National Championships

(Columbus, Ohio) - Dickinson College senior Kent Pecora (Chapel Hill, N.C./Chapel Hill) placed ninth in the 5000 meters at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Pecora clocked a time of 14:37.83. North Central College's Mike Spain won the event in a time of 14:17.42.

Pecora capped a great season, including a Centennial Conference Championship in the 5000 meters. He also set school records in the 800 (1:56.00), mile (4:17.32) and 5000 meter (14:31.14) events.
