Abbate Earns Second Outdoor Athlete of the Week Honor

This is Abbate's second honor for the outdoor season as he broke the school record in the hammer throw at the Messiah Invitational on Saturday.
He won the event with a record throw of 49.95 meters. He also won the shot put (15.11m) and placed second in the discus with a throw of 41.61 meters.
The Red Devils are scheduled to compete at the Mason-Dixon Invitational this weekend, hosted by Gettysburg College.
