Men's Tennis Rolls Past Mules 7-2



(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team posted a 7-2 win over visiting Muhlenberg College on Wednesday afternoon.


The Red Devils dropped just the top flights in double and singles, but posted straight set wins in the other five singles flights.


Clark Chapman (Princeton, N.J./Montgomery) claimed the second flight (6-3, 6-2), after battling with Erik Dinardo (Carlisle, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) in an 8-5 setback in doubles. Dinardo went (6-0, 6-2) to win the third singles flight.


Steven Kaplan (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial) had a strong second set to win four, (6-4, 6-1). He teamed with senior Ari Blask (Chevy Chase, Md./Charles E. Smith) for a 9-7 win in the second flight of doubles.


John Kneisley (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) and Evan Davis (Westport, Conn./Staples) earned points in the fifth and sixth flights. They combined for an 8-1 win in doubles.


The Red Devils improve to 6-9 overall and 4-4 in the Centennial Conference. They travel to Franklin & Marshall for a 12:00 pm start.
