(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team suffered a tough loss to, #6-regionally ranked Swarthmore College, 9-0, on Saturday.
Steven Kaplan (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham) put up a fight in the fourth singles flight before falling to Irving Stone, 7-6, 6-3. First-year Clark Chapman (Princeton, N.J./Montgomery) overcame a slow start, taking four points in the second set, but dropped a 6-0, 6-4 decision in the second flight.
Chapman teamed with Erik Dinardo (Concord, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) at the number one doubles spot, suffering an 8-5 setback.
The Red Devils slip to 5-9 overall and 3-4 in the Centennial Conference. They are home again on Tuesday, hosting Muhlenberg College at 3:30 pm.
