(Lutherville, Md.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team suffered a loss on the road on Tuesday night, falling at Division I Loyola University at the Greenspring Racquet Club.
The match opened with singles due to court availability as the Greyhounds claimed all six flights. Ari Blask (Chevy Chase, Md./Charles E. Smith) battled in the top flight, but dropped a (6-1, 7-5) setback to Harrison Kunkel.
Erik Dinardo (Carlisle, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) overcome a 5-0 deficit in the second set before falling, (6-1, 6-4). Sophomore John Kneisley (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) played a strong match in the fifth flight, but suffered a (7-6, 6-2) loss.
The Greyhounds went on to claim all three doubles matches as well (8-1, 8-0, 8-3), for the 9-0 decision.
The Red Devils face another strong opponent on Saturday, returning to Centennial Conference action, hosting Swarthmore College at 1:00 pm.
