26th-Ranked Swarthmore Tops Red Devil Men 8-1

(Swarthmore, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to nationally, #26-ranked Swarthmore College on Saturday.


Joey Frank (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Boca Raton) and Erik Dinardo (Concord, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) battled in the second doubles flight before falling, 9-8. Frank played a tight match in the fourth singles flight as well, suffering a 6-3, 6-4 decision.


Junior Ari Blask (Chevy Chase, Md./Charles E. Smith) earned the lone point for the Devils in the second singles flight after Max Sacks retired in the second set.


The Red Devils slip to 4-11 overall and 3-4 in the Centennial Conference. They travel to Muhlenberg on Wednesday for a 5:00 pm match with the Mules.
