(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback to visiting Haverford College on Saturday afternoon. The 'Fords, ranked eighth in the Atlantic South Region, impoved to 4-0 in the Centennial Conference.
The 'Fords took a 3-0 lead after doubles, sweeping the flights, 8-3, 8-3, 8-4. Chris Mueller-Wolf (Hamburg, Germany/Pennington School, N.Y.) continued to have a strong season, winning the third singles flight, 6-2, 7-6 (6). He rallied for a 6-4 deficit in the tiebreaker.
Josh Kaseff (Westport, Conn./Staples) earned the other point for the Red Devils, claiming the sixth singles flight, 6-2, 6-4.
The Red Devils slip to 2-9 overall and 1-3 in the Centennial Conference. They are home again on Wednesday, hosting Gettysburg College at 4:00 pm.
