(York, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's tennis team rolled to a non-conference win at York College on Tuesday, turning back the Spartans, 8-1.
Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincaid) and Hunter Dewing-Hommes (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) combined for an 8-2 win in the top doubles flight. Golinkin added a win the first singles flight as well, posting a 6-0, 6-0 decision.
First-year Jonathan Brittin (McLean, Va./Landon) and senior David London (Chevy Chase, Md./Maret School) earned straight set wins in fourth and fifth flights, and teamed-up for an 8-2 decision in doubles.
Ari Blask (Chevy Chase, Md./Charles E. Smith) and Erik Dinardo (Carlisle, Mass.) won the second doubles flight while Dinardo added a point in the sixth singles flight as well. Junior Dixon Blue (Westminster, Md./McDonogh) also posted a singles win, capturing the second flight, (6-1, 6-3).
The Red Devils improve to 7-6 overall. They return to Centennial Conference action on Saturday, traveling to Swarthmore for a 4:00 pm match.
