Devils Roll to 8-1 Win at Elizabethtown

(Elizabethtown, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's tennis team posted an 8-1 win over Elizabethtown College on Thursday afternoon.
The Devils took a 2-1 lead after doubles, claiming the first and third flights. The Devils swept the singles matches, winning 4-of-6 in straight sets as they improve to 3-3 on the season
Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincaid) led the way with wins in the top singles and doubles flights. He joined Franco Mena (Azcunaga Quito, Ecuador) for and 8-6 win and claimed first singles, 6-3, 4-6, 10-4.
First-year Jon Britton (McLean, Va./) and senior David London (Chevy Chase, Md./Maret School) posted solid wins in the fifth and sixth singles flights while combining for an 8-3 win in doubles.
The Red Devils are scheduled to travel to Ursinus College on Saturday. The match time has been moved up to 9:00 am.
