Adams Earns Second All-America Honor on Friday Night
(Knoxville, Tenn.) - Dickinson College first-year Jason Adams (Kingston, Jamaica/Kent School Conn.) earned his second All-America honor on friday night, placing 13th in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 50.21 at the NCAA Men's Swimming National Championships.
Adams placed 14th in the 100 yard butterfly on Wednesday to garner his first All-America honor, clocking a time of 49.82. Adams placed fourth in his heat and 23rd overall in the prelims of the 50 yard freestyle on Tuesday, clocking a time of 20.88
Adams broke three individual school records and is part of four, school record-setting relay marks. He has the program's fastest times in the 50 freestyle (20.36), 100 backstroke (49.83) and the 100 butterfly (49.07). He set school marks in the 200 medley and freestyle, and 400 medley and freestyle relay events as well in his rookie season.
