(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's soccer team scored once in the first half and three times after the break, posting a 4-0 win over visiting Ursinus College on Saturday.
Sophomore Kevin Gilbert (Boxford, Mass./Masconemet Regional) put the Devils on the board, netting the game-winner off an assist from first-year Colin Fagan (Chalfont, Pa./C.B. South) in the 32nd minute.
Gilbert tallied his second goal of the match, just seven minutes into the second, scoring off a feed from junior Ward Van de Water (Warrenton, Va./Highland).
First-year Mohamed Kourouma (New Haven, Conn./Wilbur Cross) found the net twice in the second half, scoring in the 73rd minute and closing things out with another tally with just over a minute to play.
The Red Devils outshot the Bears 21-3 on the afternoon, holding a 5-2 advantage on corners. Matthew Kenwood finished with six saves as Ursinus falls to 2-7 overall and 0-4 in the Centennial Conference. John Baney (Ridgewood, N.J./Montcliar Kimberley Academy) finished with one save in the nets for Dickinson.
The Red Devils improve to 6-3-1 overall and 2-1-1 on conference play. The Red Devils travel to the University of Misericordia on Tuesday night for a 7:00 pm kick-off.
