It's NCAA Tourney Time: Red Devils Host Men's Soccer Regional

The #22-ranked Red Devils will host the second and third rounds of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship this weekend

 

 

(Carlisle, Pa.) - The Dickinson men's soccer team, ranked 22nd and 23rd in the latest D3soccer.com and NSCAA national polls, will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.

 

The Red Devils will host a four-team regional on Phyllis Joan Miller Memorial Field at Dickinson Park on Saturday and Sunday evening.

 

The Red Devils (14-5-1) will host Susquehanna University (13-5-1) in the first match on Saturday, kicking-off at 5:00 pm.

 

In the other first round match, ranked Franklin & Marshall (14-3-2) will square-off against Catholic University (12-5-2) at approximately 7:30 pm. The Diplomats are 19th in the D3soccer.com poll and 14th in the NSCAA rankings.

 

The winners will advance to Sunday's second round match-up, which will kick-off at Miller Memorial Field at 5:00 pm.

 

The Red Devils make their third straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, earning hosting bids for the past two seasons. Dickinson opened the tournament with a 4-1 win over Western Connecticut State on Miller Field last season.
